Taping and Bandaging

Bandaging is used for the immediate treatment of a injury and taping is used for the isolation and prevention of injury/further injury.
Preventative Taping
Preventative taping is used to strengthen or support a specific joint during physical activity. It is particularly useful in speed agility and strength. This taping can be used as a preventative measure or as a protection measure, protecting current injury by limiting the range of motion of the joint
Taping for isolation of Injury
Taping for isolation is used for existing injuries or point of weakness in order to reduce the chance of injury or re-injury. The limb that is injured can be taped to give support, and strengthen the joint.
Bandaging for immediate treatment of Injury
bandaging for immediately injury is to reduce the amount of damage that occurs as a result of the normal, inflammatory. This type of bandaging reduces the amount of swelling associated with internal bleeding so that the athlete can engage in rehabilitation program sooner and recover an injury in a short time period.
