Heart Conditions
High blood Pressure and hypertension are examples of heart conditions. These lead to limitations in intensity of exercise that can be completed. Exercise can improve the conditions of the heart and reduce blood pressure over time. Athletes with heart conditions must see a medical practitioner in order to find out at what intensity they can train at. Generally those with heart conditions would need to train at low impact and low resistance increasing gradually. For spiriting this means that most with heart conditions will not be able to compete until they rectify their condition.

Osteoporosis is when bones become more susceptible breaking as you age because they become less dense. Maintaining the recommended daily calcium intake and participation in certain weight bearing activities can help to prevent osteoporosis. High impact and contact should be avoided. Sprinting should only be undertaken on the basis of a medical practitioner's advice.
